Rare vintage New Old Stock Chinese ironwood chopsticks commemorating the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, China.
Includes 2 matching pairs / 4 chopsticks, each measuring approximately 9.75 inches long. The chopsticks have an octagonal shape, rich dark brown wood grain, and gold Chinese characters running vertically along the upper portion.
The original decorative paper bands remain intact and are marked 正宗铁木, translating to approximately “genuine/authentic ironwood.” The gold inscription on the chopsticks references the Great Hall of the People, making these an especially interesting Chinese travel, cultural and historical souvenir collectible.
