VINTAGE PICO CALIFORNIA \'40s ORIGINAL UNION 76 GAS STATION SOUVENIR TRAVEL DECAL
Once upon a time, the California town of Pico Rivera was known as just PICO and this old UNION 76 gas station souvenir is one of the few surviving from the original community (named for Pio Pico, the last Mexican governor of California).
Given away as an advertising premium in the early 1940s for visitors to the Union 76 petrolium stations across California, and this beauty has survived many decades in very good condition.
Produced by ANGELUS TRANSFERS for the ANSON W. THOMPSON CO., this original vintage decal has just a few small creases, minor edgewear and curving to mar its perfection. It is brightly colored and measures 6 1/2\" wide by 2 1/2\" tall.
