Correct Name for this item is: An aircraft camera intervalometer.Although intervalometers made by the Abrams Instrument Corp were made for both military and civilian applications, the specifications of this unit made it for military use.
Unit works as far as the selector knob goes. You need to manually turn the dial, it softly clicks for every count of 1 and then gives you a firmer louder click when moved to the \"OFF\" position. This item is from a collection from an estate of a retired military pilot that had served in WW2 retiring in the early 1970\'s.
There is a lot of information on line about this. The more I searched the more I found. Here are a few highlights:Manufactured in 1956. Although Abrams made these from about 1940 until the US fazed them out in the mid-1970\'s.You can look up all the types of planes this may have been used in from WW2 to the U2 and beyond. (Not the SR-71. It flew to fast, it utilized a completely different photographic system.)

I am downsizing so things will be priced to sell! Will be listing parts, hardware, HVAC, electrical, tools, garage items, man cave, steampunk, old vintage bits and pieces, swap meet stuff.....I will combine shipping. Fastest way and to ensure you get the items is to just buy them. I will see they were bought by the same person and I will refund any overages in shipping, usually the same day if not by the next. You can also send me a message to confirm. Look at my response, I have done this many times and I am not going to ruin my rating for a one time grab of a few shipping dollars.
I use recycled shipping materials when feasible and I reserve the right to switch shippers to enhance service as I have seen as much as 6 days difference in est delivery dates. If this is an issue, you MUST let me know when you buy the item(s) as there is little I can do after they are on their way.
