I AM NOT A MILITARY UNIFORM EXPERT, PLEASE USE YOUR BEST JUDGEMENT!. From what I gathered from AI (double edged sword, but consistent information) this patch was used in the 50’s thru the 60’s. US ARMY military communications zone, in Europe, used during the 50’ and 60’s (post WW II prior to the Vietnam Conflict. The cut of the jacket shirt is prior to the Vietnam Conflict. Please note that the interior tags have been removed. Selvedge edges on inside of jacket, as shown in photos. One button appears to have been replaced, as it’s not like the others. All double stitching is intact. No visible holes, tears or stains noted. Color is consistent thru the jacket. It is faded, due to use and age. It is not brittle. I cannot give you a fabric content. AI said is sateen (?.). Pit to pit is about 22”. Overall condition is great, considering its age. The close up shot of the shoulder patch is a fair representation of the color.
