These slabbed out items are hard stuck to the matrix base, a little trim work to what you want and these would be ready to cab up, there is enough gem vein cap on each to make very unique color and pattern LOW DOME cabs. If you only make HIGH DOME these are not for you. This 1/2 pound of rough turquoise specimen was mined from the Tonopah region of Nevada, Esmerelda County and is a unique addition to any collection. The natural hard rock with its distinctive color and texture, is unique. The country of origin for this rough turquoise is the United States, the State is Nevada, The District is Esmeralda and the nearest town is Tonopah adding to its rarity, and notable appeal. It is ideal for collectors and lapidary enthusiasts alike, and its uses extend beyond the scope of jewelry making. These specimens are a great conversation piece and a valuable addition to any collection. This is vein hard rock ore vs soft nugget from old clay ore. Does not need Stabilization.If Blue is what you want well friend this ore is not for you, as this is Tonopah Green/blue , polychrome, color. This is not Malachite or Chrysocolla we have been mining this turquoise at this pit going on 15 years now and the old timers were documented University of Nevada as mining this claim in 1909 and earlier.What this ORE is : It is certified from our mine, Blue Silver 2, Tonopah NV and certificate comes with each shipment. It is from our personal mines we have mined for over 14 years and sold here on for that time. It is mostly Tonopah green and some is mixed color (polychrome) blue green black It is 100% natural hard rock in matrix (jack hammered out , not free nuggets) It has been graded as high grade It has nice colors and small lighting type strike veins in it at times It and the matrix take a good polish 400g-600g-1200g-ZAM buff It is unique patterned It is not baby or robin egg blue It is not spider web It keeps a shinePictures were taken with simple Nikon, outdoors in natural sunlight, no lighting tricks, and we do not use ANY photo enhancements. The first pictures are water only wet, 2nd to last pic is stone dry and last pic is water wet with the stones turned over. The coins are the scale of the ore, (silver dollar token, quarter, dime) and not included with sale.
