Thisisan issue of The Flash #144, May, 1964.
This comic is not CGC graded, but at the time of the original listing,I have a numberalso have listings for other Silver Age DC and Marvel CGCgraded comics that are CGC graded. Iam nowlisting this NON CGC graded comics, and I will gradually be listing a few other ungraded books. I also have a number of otherSilver AgeDC and Marvel comics that are submitted for CGC grading and I will be listing them as well once I receive them back from CGC.I bought this comic in the 1960s via a subscription toThe Flash. Consequently, it has a light centerlinesubscription crease. The information I found online about subscription creases indicated that that subscription creases were acceptable, but you are free to attach whatever significance you wish to this. You can see the subscription crease in several of the photos.
Condition I do not have expertise in comic grading. After reviewing the comic book grading standards, I have included my best assessment of the condition but since I do not have sufficient expertise, you should just consider the information here as my best faith estimate, and rely on your own review of the photos and information as well.As found, the cover has separated from the top staple. This occurred cleanly with minimal effect on the cover at this point. As a result of this the center page is cleanly detached as seen in two photos. Were it not for this staple separation and the detached page, I would have thought the correct condition grade would be Fine / Very Fine. You can make your own assessment of what weight to give to this staple issue.
