The old newspaper for sale is The London Chronicle from Tuesday, June 24 to Thursday June 26, 1794. The paper is eight sides. There are quite a few military articles including: Promotions and exchanges of officers in the British Army - Account of the victory gained by the Prussian troops, combined with a corps of Russians near Scelze, on the 6th instant, over General Kosciuskos Army of Polish insurgents - Lord Hood's fleet and the siege of Calvi (it was in this action that Adm. Nelson lost his eye) - Relations between Britain and America are now in a fair way amicably adjusted - The Poles and reasons for complaint against the Russians and many other military articles. There is also a variety of ads. The paper is in very good condition, the pages measure 11 1/4" x 8 1/2". Please see the photos for details. Great reading and a great historical newspaper.
