Dnieper Military Flotilla (VF) \" BadgeDuring the war, with the Red Army\'s advance to the Dnieper River , the People\'s Commissar of the USSR Navy issued an order on September 14, 1943, establishing a new Dnieper Naval Flotilla from ships of the Volga Naval Flotilla . The ships of this unit ( PG-117 semi-gliders) were the only naval unit to participate in the Berlin Offensive.
After the end of the Great Patriotic War, in accordance with the Directive of the Supreme Command Headquarters, the Dnieper Flotilla was transferred to the operational subordination of the Commander-in-Chief of the Group of Soviet Occupation Forces in Germany [ 11 ] .
In 1947, the flotilla was transferred from the Oder to the territory of the Byelorussian SSR , and Pinsk became its main base . At the same time, the flotilla\'s composition was significantly reduced. By order of the Commander-in-Chief of the USSR Navy dated June 15, 1951, the DNF was disbanded. The 1st Naval Training Detachment, which existed until 1993, was created in Pinsk using the flotilla\'s equipmentHot EnamelsCheck the pictures.
