After 30years as a respected and eminent photographer, Avedis Baghsarian foundphotography no longer challenging and in the early \'90s began designing andproducing a collection of tabletop accessories. He focused on functionaldesigns featuring interlocking forms for vases, candle holders andsalt-and-pepper shakers, among other items. In 1994, the collection won theprestigious International Design Magazine Award. Subsequently, his piecesdebuted in Bergdorf Goodman, Barneys and 28 leading museum stores, includingNew York\'s Guggenheim, San Francisco MOMA, Museum of Contemporary Arts inChicago, the Los Angeles Museum of Arts and San Diego Museum of Arts.
Avedis Baghsarian passed away February 2021.
