Vintage 1960s Mid Century Red Green Blue Cone Triple Tension Pole Lamp, MCMI simply love tension pole lamps. I've probably sold 30 of them on over the last 28 years. I live in a very mid century part of my town and run across them pretty often for sale at estate sales. I buy each one I find.
This is a unique one. The shades are transluscent plastic not glass. They have a soft pastel color on them. One blue, one red and one green. For my photos I also used colored bulbs to enhance the colors. The bulbs do not come with the lamp in this listing. I would only use modern LED bulbs since the shades are plastic instead of glass. It's amazing to me that these shades were never melted years ago if someone put a 100 W bulb in it. But no, they are in great conditon.
The whole lamp is in very good vintage used condition. It has the original switch on the pole. One click turns on two lights, second click turns off those two and turns on a different light, third click turns on all three lights and the fourth click turns off the lamp. The pole is black and gold.
These were originally sold at sears, pennys, wards etc. You can still see them advertised in old catalogs.Shipping is $49.99 to the lower 48 states only.
