Here we have aScarce ! Vintage PLUMB CHAMPION Embossed Quality Seal Single Bit Axe Head 4 lbs. ! Got this over the weekend at an sale in Lancaster County, PA. Only cleaning was with light brushing off of the barn dust and dirt, then wiping the surface with a light bit of oil so you could see the embossing better. Very good detail of the lumberjack swinging the axe at the log he is standing on. All of the lettering and surrounding outlines are in very good condition. The head is 6-3/4'L with a 4-1/2"L edge. It is inVery Good 'used tool' condition with a couple of minor surface corrosion marks, nicks, dings, and some mild mushrooming at the poll end. NO cracks in the head. No owner marks. Please review the pics to confirm condition !!
