San Francisco city and county limit sign.
Up for sale today is this San Francisco city and county limit boundary sign, from California. Made to the exact standards used from 1929 to 1934 by the California State Auto Association. Population and elevation are correct to the 1930 census.
I can make this city limit sign for any city or town in California, or any other state. Please inquire!
An original of these is very rare to find scrapped; they have long since been retired from service. You can expect to pay many hundreds of dollars to obtain one—if any even survive. So here is your chance to own an excellent display piece, without the hassle and expense of tracking one down on the collector's market.
Our San Francisco city limit sign is flat printed on steel, with completely accurate layout and fonts. It weighs about 6 lb. 7 oz., and is 21 by 12 inches. If you would like a different size, city name, or population number, please do not hesitate to inquire.
This is a high quality, heavy steel, non-reflective replica sign—perfect for indoor or outdoor display. Accept no imitations that may be one-third this price, but are one-tenth the quality. No cheap tin to be found here, with the wrong fonts, layouts, size, shape, or any other manner of embarrassing imperfection. This one will make even the most discerning collector stick their nose into the sign, as it looks that good from that close!
I can of course make these signs with any city name of your choice, and not just this style, even the classic US and state route markers, and the mileage and direction guide signs, from the era. Anything you would like, made with unsurpassed quality right here in the good old US of A.
Figure about 8 lb. 7 oz. for shipping, packed carefully and mailed from zip code 61833. Our signs are only printed when you buy them. Allow about 10 business days for manufacturing, in addition to the usual delivery time.
The watermark and bear logo in the design preview will not appear on the actual sign. We have begun adding a watermark because we have had problems with other companies copying our artwork to make lesser-quality imitations. You will only get this high level of quality in design and materials from Signs by Jake.
