A fresh costumed champion suddenly appears in New York City, Prodigy. But beneath the flashy new persona is none other than your friendly neighborhood Spider‑Man, trying out a disguise while still doing what he always does: protecting the city. Whether he’s wearing red and blue or a brand‑new suit, Peter Parker never hesitates when danger strikes.
When the daughter of a visiting ambassador is kidnapped, Prodigy springs into action. His rescue mission quickly gets complicated as he crosses paths with a mysterious new foe known as Conundrum, and an old enemy returning to cause trouble—Jack O’Lantern. It’s a trial by fire for Peter’s latest identity, and the training wheels are officially off.
The story also features appearances from familiar faces including Mary Jane Watson, Anna Watson, Betty Brant, Flash Thompson, Norman Osborn, J. Jonah Jameson, and Billy Walters.
