Beautiful, authentic Royal Copenhagen porcelain figurine titled "Amager Girl Knitting" (Model No. 1314). This classic piece was originally designed by the renowned artist Lotte Benter in 1911 and features a young girl in traditional Danish folk attire from the island of Amager, deeply focused on her knitting.
The underside of the figurine features the official Royal Copenhagen backstamp.
• Includes the signature three wavy blue lines and a green factory crown.
A distinct chronological date mark—a bar placed under the letter 'M' in "DENMARK"—authenticates this specific piece to the production year 1952.
It features the hand-painted model number 1314 and the artist/painter's initials (hmx.).
This is a First Quality piece (there are no factory slash marks through the blue waves).
It is an excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or crazing.
