1929 Art Deco Art Metal Works bronze style finish figural female ashtray. The ashtray is featured in the Ronson Art Metal Works 1929 -1930 catalog and in a Ronson advertisement. Louis V Aronson was the president of AMW during the art deco period. LVA's genius was metallurgy before he became a petrol lighter inventor in the 1910's. The Art Metal Works were re-known for their high quality finishes thanks to those invented by LVA. See pics closely for condition and patina
