Replica - 15th Century German/Swiss Halberd - Polearm/Axe - Denix
Historically, the halberd a two-handed weapon with a shaped axe head. It was an effective weapon for a foot soldier against cavalry, and in skilled hands the weapon could dismount a knight and seal his fate. It was expertly crafted for stabbing, gashing, and slashing. This decorative replica by Denix takes its design inspiration from polearms used from the late medieval to early Renaissance, such as the 14th to 15th centuries. This style of polearms was often used by Swiss and German knights. It has a wooden handle and a zinc-alloy blade. The Renaissance Halberd is ideal for roleplaying as a fearsome mercenary. You can also use it to decorate your castle walls.
