An original letter written by Rear Admiral Louis Kempff who served in the Navy as a Lieutenant during the Civil War. This paper is dated well after the Civil War and Boxer Rebellion. It is dated 1912. At the top it says US Navy Pay Office. I currently have other letters from/to Admiral Kempff available.

All photographic ephemera shows wear commensurate to age, including, potentially, stains, dings, fraying, scents, stray marks, and other imperfections, etc. You get what you see :)
