- Formed the Publicity Film Company (1913) to create promotional films for ND immigration and businesses.
- Filmed state events, including a 1914 trip with Governor Hanna to Norway.
- Legacy:His extensive collection of photographs and early films is preserved by the State Historical Society of North Dakota, offering invaluable glimpses into North Dakota's history, towns, people, and landscape.
- Later Life:Moved to California in 1921, where he continued in film, passing away in 1967.
