■ Mid-century design experts and collectors look at the \"form\" of the item rather than a stamped logo because many promotional, prototype, or miniature items from that era were left unmarked.
■ This piece features the unmistakable silhouette of the \"La Mama,\" which Italian modernist master Enzo Mari uniquely designed for Le Creuset in 1972. You can instantly identify it by it by two proprietary design elements that do not exist on any other vintage cookware.
1) The Sculptural Loop Handles: The handles are flush and seamlessly integrated directly into the oval rim of the bowl, flaring slightly outward in Enzo Mari signureture minimalist style.
2) The Raised Geometric Lid Handle: The lid handle is an elongated, wedge-like rectangle that blends smoothly into the dome lid rather than a traditional round knob.
