Rare vintage early 1960s Harley-Davidson Townsman horsehide leather jacket with the original pre-AMF Harley-Davidson “Quality Workmanship” woven label. This is the longer Townsman/half-coat style rather than the more common short Harley motorcycle jacket. The Quality Workmanship label is documented on surviving 1960s Harley-Davidson jackets. Classic Townsman construction with a large pointed collar, horizontal chest yoke, two vertical zippered pockets, two large lower flap pockets, long straight body and rear waist/belt attachment details.Features a vintage TALON main zipper and chain pocket zippers with chain-and-ring pulls. All zippers and snaps are present and working properly.The jacket is in good vintage condition for its age, with authentic wear, creasing, patina consistent with a leather jacket that is 60+ years old.
