Rare Vintage 1953 The Black Cat Cafe Business Card & Souvenir Road Trip Mileage.
Up for sale is a fantastic, authentic piece of early Route 66 memorabilia from downtown Flagstaff, Arizona. This oversized vintage trade business card was picked up at The Black Cat Cafe, which was located right on historic US 66 at 6 E. Santa Fe Ave, directly across from the old Santa Fe Railroad an dBus Depot.
Front features the restaurant's iconic arched back black cat mascot logo, mid-century typography, and a handwritted date from a traveler marking "May 1953." It also features a crisp tiny "Union Label - Typographical Prescott Ariz." printing label.
Back features a beautifully preserved, highly practical "Mileage from Flagstaff" table split into East, West, North and South highway routes. It details historic mileage and elevations for historic stops like Williams, Kingman, Los Angeles, Winslow, Gallup, Oklahoma City, and the Grand Canyon.
Measures approx 4.5 inches by 2.5 inches, slightly larger than a modern business card.
Condition Note: Excellent vintage condition with crisp edges and minimal surface wear. It has a single historical handwritten notation at the top "May 1953" which adds to its authentic provenance. There is one small rip at the top center of the card - see photos.
