This is an ultra rare and authentic White House VIP coaster gift set from President Trump’s first term in office. This is the very first set that was produced in the 1st term and 3 subsequent versions have been released since.
The coaster set is mint (unused) and comes with in its outer blue presentation box feature The Seal of The President. These coasters are made of polished brass, enamel and leather. They have cork bottoms. They are far more detailed than the 2nd term coasters. The craftsmanship has made these a favorite of collectors. The last set to sell on went for more than $1400 and they weren’t even in the same pristine condition as this set is. They have neither been used or displayed and only removed for the box for these listing photos.
There is some slight discoloration to the White portion of the enamel which does happen with age (the white now appears as an off white/light cream color.) There is also a slight scuffing that occurred to the leather on one of the coasters (as pictured in photo #3) which I presume was how they were originally delivered as these are never been used and have been stored in their original presentation box since received other than for these listing photos. These defects are reflected in the price.
