Rich nielloed floral decoration, finely chased work, in the great tradition of the Caucasian workshops (Tbilisi and neighboring regions). Presence of the Caucasian maker\'s mark and the Imperial title 84, guaranteeing official manufacture prior to the Russian Revolution.
These buckles were intended for ceremonial civilian belts, worn during important ceremonies or occasions, and today constitute an emblematic testament to Tsarist White Russia, before the fall of the Empire. Condition: very good. Period: late 19th - early 20th century. Origin: Russian Empire - Caucasus. Material: solid silver with niello finish.
