Up for sale is an ultra rare antique 1905 advertising serving tray from IPPels cash dry goods house 413-415 court street Saginaw west side Michigan. This beautiful large oval serving tray is in excellent condition for its age. The tray features a beautiful young woman with a rose in her hair. The advertised part is at the bottom of the tray. It is also marked Nu-3 at the bottom. This is one of the nicest examples I’ve ever seen. The condition of the tray is extremely nice for its size and age. The colors are still very nice on this tray there are some scuffs and some age marks on the tray. There is like a water ring on the top of the tray kinda in her hair but nothing major. The back of the tray has some scratches and scuffs and little rust also has a wire hanging piece on the back to hang on the wall. IPPels dry goods store opened in the 1900s and closed in 1980s. And then it burned down in 2002 so anything from that store is going to be extremely hard to find anymore. This serving tray measures 16 3/4 inches long and 13 3/4 inches wide. This tray is 100% authentic and original from the 1900s. Beautiful colors and graphics. This could possibly be the only one known to exist right now I’ve never seen another one anywhere. But I could be wrong. This serving tray would be a great find for any one that lives in Michigan or knows anything about the IPPels dry goods store. I was told that back in the early 1900s the Cash part of the name was because they had an electric car on tracks that would deliver money and other items in the store. This is a beauty! Please view pictures carefully because it’s part of my description message me with any questions you might have before purchasing this tray. Good luck finding another one in this shape.
