This is a rare 19th century antique Crow Native American painted antique trunk showing ledger type drawings with intricate and original artwork in a multi-color palette, reflecting the rich cultural heritage of the Crow Indian tribe in the United States. The trunk is 24 inches long by 12 inches wide and 11 inches high and was purchased from an old collector in Montana many years ago.
The drawings depicts Crow designs on the sides and a battle between the Crow Indians and the U.S. Cavalry on the top.
Very good condition with brass tacks but unfortunately the tacks were cleaned some years ago. It would make a great center piece for your Crow or Native American collection or display....
