A truly exceptional find for the serious Georges Briard collector. This vintage Georges Briard “Merry Christmas” enamel canister is an incredibly scarce holiday piece featuring Briard’s iconic strawberry motif with elegant gold script reading “Merry Christmas.” Measuring approximately 7.5 inches tall, it retains its original matching lid and displays beautifully. After extensive research, I was unable to locate another example of this “Merry Christmas” canister currently available or previously sold. While Georges Briard produced a variety of fruit-themed enamel kitchenware during the mid-century era, this festive Christmas variation appears to be extremely difficult to find and is seldom seen on the secondary market.Whether you’re a dedicated Georges Briard collector, a mid-century modern enthusiast, or someone who appreciates unique vintage Christmas décor, this is a standout piece that rarely becomes available.Condition
Good vintage condition with expected age-related wear. The canister retains its original lid and presents beautifully. There is light wear to the gold lettering and trim, along with minor surface marks consistent with decades of careful use. The interior is clean and ready to display or use. Please review all photos carefully as they are part of the description.Features
