Up for sale is a magnificent and incredibly rare piece of pre-war automotive history: an original 1937 Pontiac Proclamation dealership paper sign (8" x 20"). Designed to look like a vintage parchment scroll, this sign was an official showroom piece used to introduce the public to the highly anticipated 1937 Pontiac Six and Eight models (featuring the famous "Silver Streak" styling). What makes this specific piece exceptionally unique is the original dealer stamp at the very bottom for "Tedford Motor Co." located on 5th Street in Santa Rosa, California. It features the printed signature of H.J. Klingler, Vice President and General Sales Manager of the Pontiac Motor Company, along with the iconic Art Deco Chief Pontiac emblem logo ribbon in the bottom left corner.
