Liberty & Co - Tudric line - RARE! I've not found another pair like this online in sale records!
May well have been designed by Archibald Knox.
8" tall, base is 5.25" diameter. Just study the photos and try yourself to find another set like this online in sale records as I could not find any so I think these sticks are RARE within the Tudric line. offer as who knows when you'd ever find this unusual Celtic Revival design again (they aren't making them like this anymore!). Both are marked the same on the bottom, see photos. Model 01769. There is also an "H" code on the bottom of each. I love the Celtic/floral design and the subtle hammer marks on the shafts of the candlesticks. Cup diameter is 1”.
These have lovely old tarnish on the pewter and if I kept them (tempting!), I'd leave it. But, buyer may choose to polish if so desired. These are clean, solid, no repairs, only minor scratches/wear, most scratches are inside the cups due to wax removal. So, offer with confidence!!! You will love these!

Archibald Knox was the main designer for Liberty & Co. at the start of the 20th century. Numerous iconic objects designed by him in the Art Nouveau, Arts & Crafts, and Celtic Revival styles are now in the collections of renowned design museums throughout the world.
