Cap has 2 narrow gold-filled bands.

I have had this pen for over 30 years, stored in a drawer.

I am not a pen expert, but after doing some research, it appears that the \"7\" on the barrel indicates the pen is from 1947, and the 2 gold bands on the cap would indicate a pen pre-1948.

I have not tested the pen.
