**The Pallasite Meteorite Table Lamp**
At the heart of this lamp sits a slab of pallasite meteorite — roughly 800 grams of it, recently manufactured, cut & polished. The meteorite slab is "HUGE" measuring 8" Tall × 3.5" Wide × 3/8" Thick (200 × 90 × 10mm)Natural Pallasites are among the rarest meteorites on Earth: a lattice of iron-nickel metal studded with olivine crystals, they formed at the boundary between the core and mantle of a shattered asteroid, long before our planet existed. The olivine glows in shades of amber, honey, and deep green, each crystal a small window into the early solar system.
We believe this is the first lamp of its kind ever produced. This is a solid, continuous slab of pallasite — a piece most collectors would display under glass — engineered into a functional, everyday object.
