Pair of vintage original Zarebski Mexican wall plaques featuring raised Mesoamerican-inspired figures surrounded by intricate glyph-style borders. Made from Zarebski’s characteristic green crushed-malachite/resin composite with gold accents, mounted on dark wood panels.
Both retain original ZAREBSKI maker plaques on the backs. One also retains a partial vintage Mexican price label. Family owned since the 1970s or 1980s and believed to have been acquired in Mexico. Wire hangers attached.
CONDITION: Both have age-related wear, including scratches and scuffs to the wood, finish wear, discoloration, dust in crevices, and chips/losses to the gold-colored perimeter trim. The plaque with the tall central figure has a noticeable broken/missing section at the lower part of the figure. Additional small chips and losses may be present in the detailed composite designs.
