Beautiful matching pair of vintage genuine Limoges porcelain cameo wall plaques, made in France and presented by Sungott Art Studios of New York.
Each plaque features a circular pale blue porcelain medallion with raised white classical figures. One depicts three women in flowing classical dress, while the companion piece features a lively musical scene with figures playing a lyre and flute and dancing. The detailed relief work creates the elegant cameo-like appearance associated with this style of Limoges decorative porcelain.
The porcelain medallions are mounted within cream fabric surrounds and elaborate square gilt frames with raised scrolling foliate decoration and beaded inner borders. Decorative metal hangers at the top complete the presentation.
Both pieces retain their original paper labels on the reverse reading:
“Genuine Limoges Cameo – Made in France – Sungott Art Studios – New York – Style No. 627.”

Condition: Very good vintage condition overall. The frames are in good condition with no scratches noted. The porcelain cameo medallions appear well preserved. The cream fabric surrounding the medallions has visible age-related discoloration/toning, as shown in the photographs. Original backing and labels remain present. Please review all photographs for exact condition.
