Thisis a very good small cabinet specimen with complete coverage of pyromorphite and descloizite crystals on a stalactitic matrix. Bothminerals are very uncommon at Tsumeb.
Anunidentified white coating covers one side of the specimen. Whilecleaning with a pressurized mist of distilled water it seemed thatthe coating could be removed, but we chose to leave it in its naturalstate.
Thespecimen comes from the collection of Frank Edwards (1910-1982). Hishandwritten label and a later label from Steve Perry Minerals willaccompany the specimen to its new owner.
