The end of the container features a crisp, legible Laufschützer 42 marking accompanied by an official Waffenamt (WaA) acceptance eagle stamp.

The carrier retains substantial original late-war factory Dunkelgelb (ordnance tan) paint with honest field wear and surface oxidation where paint has flaked off. All closure latches, hinge mechanisms, and strap loops are complete and functional. Opens ans closes smoothly.
