Commendation to Motor Machinist's Mate 1st Class Claude Thomas Yorke for action related to the attack on the USS Denver by a Japanese Rikko bomber on November 13, 1943.
Dated December 11, 1943.
Signed by (then) Capt. Robert P. Briscoe - who would command the USS Denver during the pivotal Battle of Surigao Strait.
