Vintage olive-drab M1-style military helmet with prominent “MP” and “204” markings around the exterior. The markings are consistent with Military Police identification; an listing for a similarly marked helmet identifies it as a 204th Military Police Battalion M1 helmet, but I would not guarantee the exact unit, age, or originality of the markings without expert authentication.
Includes the helmet and interior liner/suspension shown in the photos. The liner has olive web suspension and appears complete enough for display, but several straps show substantial age and fraying.
Good collectible/display piece for military memorabilia, M1 helmet, Military Police, or Vietnam-era collections.
