Original German M35 Helmet with the original liner and the name Kohler pressed into the leather. Interestingly it has the early brass rivets, the liner has never been removed from the helmet overall is in great shape with wear along the edge. Aluminum liner band is dated 1940. Original interior paint is in great shape as well. When I acquired this helmet It had a neon blue green 1960s – 70s biker helmet color on the outside shell. Usually with careful acetone cleaning the original color underneath is not bothered. However, before they painted it back in the day they cleaned the shell and most of the original paint is gone though a few splotches remain. You can see the brush strokes from when they cleaned it. Still a great display piece with some interesting things going for it.
