Original OD7 WWII woven camouflage net. Guaranteed to fit your M1 helmet. These nets were cut from large vehicle, armor and artillery bivouac camouflage nets. These are the actual woven net material, not to be confused with the tied/knotted nets which were also issued to the GIs.
This net was made during WWII. There is some speculation that these were made by the British during the war.
The picture is representative of the hand cut net you will receive. Given the spacing of the 3 woven 1 inch holes you should expect that one set of 3 will be visible when fitted to your M1 helmet. There may also be holes from usage but will not exceed 1 inch. May also have visible field repairs.
