It specifically depicts him in his iconic uniform as a Chasseur à
Cheval in green coat with red epaulets and cuffs alongside his signature black bicorne hat and tall riding boots. …Figurine size is about 5” tall … the hand-painted glaze is characteristic of 19th-century Staffordshire pottery miniatures or similar continental European porcelain trinkets trom the late 1800s to early 1900s… The bottom reveals a shallow, hollow underside with a small vent/firing hole that is standard in hollow porcelain figures to allow gases to escape during the kiln process so the piece doesn't explode….This has the faint hand-painted "g" and green brushstroke mark on the rim which is common decorator or painter inventory marks rather than a formal factory backstamp. This is very collectible and Rare... The figurine shows some typical signs of age, including minor paint loss/flaking on the orange-red epaulets and cuffs!as well as slight rubbing on the black glaze of the boots…It is structurally intact without major fractures across the neck or base, which is excellent for a delicate piece of its age…
