NOS Vintage Maison de Jean St Christopher Medal Necklace, HGE Gold Plate, in Box
A vintage Maison de Jean St. Christopher medal on a fine gold-tone curb chain, new old stock and still tied into its original Maison de Jean presentation box.
The medal shows St. Christopher carrying the Christ Child across the water, with the legend "Saint Christopher Protect Us" — a classic travel and protection gift that has never been worn.

What's Included
- One (1) St. Christopher medal on a gold-tone curb chain.
- The original hinged Maison de Jean presentation box with velvet insert.
Size
- Medal approximately 3/4 x 7/8 in, oval — a close estimate, not a caliper measurement.
- The chain is still tied into the box insert, so its length has not been measured.
Condition
New old stock, never worn.
- Back: light brushing marks and one small dark speck near the stamp.
- Box: a small scuff on the lid and light corner wear.
- Chain length and clasp type have not been measured.

Markings
The back of the medal is stamped "M. DE JEAN / HGE / KARAT CLAD", and the box lid is printed "Maison de Jean HGE KARATCLAD". HGE means heavy gold electroplate: a gold layer over a base-metal core. This is gold-plated, not solid gold, and no karat-gold content is claimed.
