Description:
“Reveille 1943” is the official yearbook of Mississippi State College (now Mississippi State University), published during the height of World War II. This unique wartime annual places strong emphasis on the college’s “All Out War Effort,” capturing the patriotism, sacrifice, military training, and campus atmosphere of Mississippi State during the war years.
More than a typical college annual, this volume serves as a historical snapshot of life on campus during WWII, featuring student organizations, athletics, military activities, photographs, and wartime-themed design elements throughout. The striking embossed cover and period photography make this an especially collectible edition for Mississippi State alumni, WWII collectors, and those interested in Southern history.
