✨ABOUT THIS ROSARY✨
“Memento mori” is a Latin phrase meaning “remember that you must die.”
While that may sound unsettling at first, the Church has long embraced memento mori as a spiritual practice—not to inspire fear, but wisdom. It reminds us that our time on earth is temporary, encouraging us to focus on what truly matters: our relationship with God, the salvation of our souls, and the eternal life promised through Christ.
The skull beads on this rosary serve as a quiet reminder to pray well, love well, and live each day with purpose. Far from being gloomy, memento mori is an invitation to gratitude, humility, and trust in God’s mercy.
The Pietà centerpiece, depicting Our Blessed Mother holding the body of Christ, together with the crown-of-thorns crucifix and skull beads, create a powerful meditation on Christ’s Passion, the brevity of earthly life, and the hope of eternal life through Him.
Carefully handcrafted one wire link at a time, this heirloom-quality rosary is designed to accompany a lifetime of faithful prayer.
“Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.” — Psalm 90:12
