This remarkable Mata Ortiz pot was created by Lupe Soto and signed in 1989. The history of this pottery is fascinating and well documented. It is embedded with Lupe\'s signature turquoise bead and signed LUPE 9/89. It is 9\" tall, 8 1/2\" wide at the widest and 3 1/2\" at the top. The weight is 2lbs 14 oz. The condition is good with wear showing in pictures to the outside, there are no chips or cracks that I can find. The inside is fabulous, placing my fingers inside, I slide into Lupe\'s handprints! An incredible pot.
