The Marvel Special Edition Close Encounters of the Third Kind #1 from 1978 is a vintage oversized soft cover comic book, perfect for any science fiction and horror genre collector. This collectible item, originating from the United States, features the iconic cover art inspired by the popular film. With a size of 10 1/4" x 13 1/4" inches, this rare find captures the essence of the classic sci-fi tale in a unique and collectible format.***** The reason I place the item condition is new is because it is New Old Stock (NOS.) It was never sold and it's from my father's old shut-down sci-fi / hobby store and he kept a lot of old stock in storage. Hence, they are essentially new. *****
