This lot is of several silver figurines that my parents purchased directly from the Bottega Veneta store in Southern California during the early 2000’s. These were display items in glass display cases that showcased current leather bags by Bottega Veneta. My father loved them so much he approached the store manager and inquired if he could purchase them. A deal was made and he was able to purchase all of them. It is unknown if Bottega Veneta made these in house or if they were commissioned to Buccellati to produce as they are VERY close to their own figurines. They are unique and rare only display items. Please see all pictures for size and any markings. All figures are in exceptional shape and have only been in display cases since purchased. Several of the figures have MADE IN ITALY and BOTTEGA VENETA stamped on them.
For each of these figures I went over them with my jeweler's loop and found no indication of purity stamps. In doing my research Italy does have tight rules on purity stamps but there are exceptions for promotional or commissioned items.
I don't have a metal tester nor an electronic tester to test conductivity. I do have VERY high-powered neodymium magnets and none of the figures are attracted to them. I also did the ice test on all of them to check melt rate against other metals (steel and nickel) and they all melted the ice rapidly unlike other metals.
Stored in a 100% smoke free environment.All pictures are taken without flash.
