Internal Film Content: Each barrel contains a miniature color or sepia micro-transparency slide featuring classic 1940s–1950s risqué pin-up/glamour photography, viewed through the integrated optical magnifying lens when backlit.
Barrel Construction: Molded in a flared mini-telescope silhouette. One end holds the focusing peephole lens, while the opposite end features a translucent diffusion disk to evenly distribute ambient light across the slide.
Material & Finishes: Cast from marbled celluloid or vintage swirled plastics in distinctive retro palettes:
Hardware: Outfitted with an integrated molded top eyelet and a vintage brass/gold-tone ball chain for attachment to keyrings or pocket watch fobs.
Era & Classification: Mid-century (circa late 1940s through 1950s) novelty counter items, sold through dime stores, carnivals, boardwalk arcades, and mail-order novelty catalogs.
