These Victorian-era 3D photographic cards capture the grandeur of the "North American Alps" and European mountain ranges with remarkable detail, including glaciers, mountain corridors, and alpine valleys. A wonderful assortment for collectors of travel ephemera, stereography, or mountaineering history.
In good, complete antique condition. These 100+ year-old stereograph cards exhibit standard age-related handling wear, including mild edge rubbing, light corner rounding, and minor surface scuffing or faint silvering under bright light as typical for period silver gelatin and lithographic prints. The structural mounts maintain their classic original curved profile for optimal 3D stereoscope viewing. Images remain crisp, dark, beautifully detailed, and completely free of heavy water damage or missing fragments.
Condition Description: Cards show age-related wear including edge rubbing, corner bumping, and some light surface soiling or foxing. A few cards have slight bowing. Images remain clear and detailed.
