The Long Binh base supported a variety of logistical and support operations, including supply depots, maintenance facilities, hospitals, and administrative offices. It played a crucial role in sustaining the American war effort in Vietnam by providing essential services and supplies to U.S. and allied forces throughout the country.
After the war, Long Binh was handed over to the South Vietnamese government and later became part of the modern-day province of Dong Nai. Today, Long Binh is home to industrial and residential areas, and some remnants of the U.S. military presence, such as abandoned buildings and infrastructure, can still be found in the area.
