Li’l Abner was one of the favorite newspaper comic strips of the 1930’s and became a comic book title that gave Al Capp the chance to expand his inimitable characters and storytelling.The bizarre Citizens of Dogpatch USA are featured in a full length Sadie Hawkins Day adventure! For a while our hopes are raised as the bashful Li’l Abner is finally ready to be caught and marry the beauteous Daisy May, but along comes Unmentionable Jones!Any issue of this comic is scarce, but one in this condition is extraordinary and rare. I am not a grader qualified to distinguish the various grades of Fine and above, so I’ll just say Fine+. There is a faint stain on upper left corner and maybe a slight scuff lower left visible on close inspection. Hard to believe a 77 year old comic could be this beautiful!
