Try an Apple Dearie from the Lenox Disney Showcase Collection, hand-painted fine bone china with 24 karat gold accents. The Wicked Queen in her peddler disguise holds out the poisoned apple in one hand with the basket of remaining apples hooked over the other arm, hooded, stooped and grinning. Approximately 6.75 inches tall. The apple and the fruit in the basket are the only strong colour on an otherwise ivory-colored piece, which is what gives it its impact on a shelf. The base is marked Try an Apple, Dearie, shown in the final photo.
